Transcriptomes of 11 samples were used (control; n = 5, carvacrol; n = 6). Every dot represents one gene. In total, 10,901 genes were found expressed in the YS, from which 442 were DEG (P < 0.05, logFC < −0.5 or logFC > 0.5) between the 2 treatments (268 upregulated and 174 downregulated in the carvacrol group compared to the control)
